遇見未來的現代
 

虛擬世界已經不是未來的憧憬,而是現在的生活美學。每個時代都有它傲人的藝術表徵留駐在藝術史上,而今,我們恰遇見了動漫美學的時代。

二十一世紀在我們足下轉動,先進的數位科技落實藝術家們近乎魔幻的想像,在虛擬的空間置入卡通漫畫裡本無時空界限的經典人物,或自創的理想圖騰及烏托邦,成就一片絢麗奪目,繽紛多元,融合過去與未來、兼具個性與時代感的動漫美學藝術。

藝術還是藝術,有一定的層次與質感,然而在動漫似假還真的虛實情境裡,藝術似乎更單純而深入,不再遙遠。動漫美學藝術與設計與卡漫與電腦與生活的模糊分野,無疑開拓了一片比三次元世界的海天更寬闊的宇宙,讓新生代的藝術家放步探索、恣意揮灑。根據物理學「膜世界」的推論, 宇宙空間除了跨時間的4D空間,猶存在著多次元的的10D境域,那麼3L4D的虛擬美學不啻掀開了未來藝術的新扉頁。

虛擬不是夢,未來其實在眼前,動漫美學藝術此刻正在世界藝壇延燒,自有其存在的契機,而「超越」恰是這趨勢必然的因素,超越舊有視覺、觀念、時空、媒材與表現方式,藝術可以更多元、更親切、更感動、更令人衷心喜悅。

3L4D動漫美學新世紀」試圖以宏觀的視野呈現國際動漫美學藝術的風潮與脈絡,感謝策展人陸蓉之卓越的眼光與觀察力,更感激來自美國、日本、韓國、中國與台灣的優秀藝術家和他們傑出的經紀人,讓我們有機會走在世界的前端,體驗一場超時空的藝術饗宴。

The Contemporary Meeting Future
 

The virtual world is no longer a future vision, but is modern life aesthetics instead. Every generation has its own high-spirited art characteristic, and today, we happen to meet the age of Animamix Aesthetics.

The 21st century is spinning under our feet. The advanced digital technology helps put the artists’ nearly-magical imagination into practice. Classic characters from timeless animation and comics, creative totems and the Utopia are inserted into the virtual space and thus carry out Animamix Aesthetics which integrates the past and the future to be more colorful, diversified, modern and particular.

Art remains art. It still has its layers and quality. However, in the virtual space of Animamix where everything seems so real, art becomes simpler and closer to us, and yet more in-depth. The indistinct borderline between Animamix, design, animation, comics, computers and life undoubtedly open up a wider universe that is beyond the 3D world. In this new universe, a new generation of artist is allowed to explore and create at will. According to the “brane world theory”, aside from the 4D space, there exists a 10D space in the universe yet. Then virtual aesthetics of 3L4D indeed turns a new page of future art.

Virtual space is no longer a dream; the future is right in front of us. At this moment, Animamix Aesthetics is spreading to the worldwide art palaces, having its existent opportunities. And “transcendence” is inevitable factor of this tendency. It transcends the traditional visions, concepts, space, media and expression. Art can be more multi-faceted, moving, amiable and pleasant.

“3L4D of Ultra-new Vision of 21st Century Animamix” attempts to present the trend and history of international Animamix arts with broad eyesight. I would like to give my special thanks to Victoria Lu for her extraordinary insight and observation, and to the outstanding artist from the China, Japan, Korea, Taiwan and the U.S. and their agents for giving us the opportunity to stand on the cutting edge of the world and enjoying an art festival that is beyond time and space.
